Welcome to my virtual gallery of wildlife art. I hope you will enjoy the paintings I have on display here. It is my intention to exhibit paintings which will serve not only to inspire lovers of art and wildlife but also to act as a direct link between myself and anyone interested in my work.
I have been a professional Artist for seventeen years now, and have been exhibiting on the internet for ten years. Generally I sell my paintings through Galleries, via public Auction with the major auction houses such as Christies, or by word of mouth recommendation. These days a significant number of sales and commissions also come directly from this website. Most of the originals displayed here have already been sold, particularly the big cats which sell very quickly, but I am always happy to consider private commissions. Please feel free to contact me directly regarding commissions or any paintings you might be interested in. I regularly ship paintings all over the world so wherever you might be, it is not a problem to get my artwork to you.
I am now pleased to announce that all of the images contained in this website are available as limited edition prints, both on fine art archival papers such as Hahnemuhle, torchon, photorag and deluxe Hahnemuhle fine art canvas. These are state of the art Giclee prints made using the very latest pigment based inks. Please contact me for further details.
I am often asked about the techniques I use to do the paintings you will see here. In response to this interest I have now set up a step by step guide under the miscellaneous section where I will take you through the various stages of a painting from start to finish. In addition to this I have many tutorial articles listed on my personal blog. I hope the many Artists who visit my site will find this interesting and I will try to add new paintings to this section as often as possible.
I regularly give lectures and painting demonstrations too, as well as personal one to one tuition which has become popular with up and coming Artists. Again, feel free to contact me regarding this or any other enquiry you might have. I am always happy to help.
Thank you to everyone who has written to me over the past year with all your words of support and encouragement which are an endless source of inspiration to me.
I am very privileged to be able to do what I do for a living, and to have spent time in some of the most beautiful places on earth, with the rare and magnificent animals that make our world so wonderful. To them, and to the wild places that both still my soul and fire my passion, I owe everything.
Conservation is very important to me and my work has raised a great deal of money for wildlife causes, But I hope the Art itself, will have a more important role in raising awareness of just how important wildlife is to all of us. In a world threatened by Global warming and perhaps even worse, the loss of critically endangered species such as the Orangutan, Mountain gorilla, Amur Leopard and the tiger, we all need to do our bit if we are to have any chance of preserving our great natural heritage. Wildlife photographers such as those working for David Attenboroughs BBC Planet Earth series or National Geographic magazine, have done a magnificent job in bringing the incredible beauty of nature into our living rooms. ( If only, for the duration of the programme ) My aim, is to bring something of that beauty permanently into peoples homes to remind us always, that out there, there are wild and still beautiful places where remarkable animals live. All they ask is to be left alone, and in return they will forever uplift our spirits, fire our imaginations and colour our dreams.
