GREETING THE FIRST SNOWS OF WINTER

I feel this is my best pastel tiger to date. I sold the original the first time I put it on display at Tatton
Hall, Tatton Park in Cheshire. Some paintings just flow from beginning to end and this was one of
them. I felt absorbed in the atmosphere of a huge male tiger roaming through the frozen Taiga
forest and raising his head to sniff the first flakes of snow as they herald the onset of winter. This
tiger has seen many winters and he welcomes them.
Greeting the first snows of winter has now become one of my best selling fine art prints
