I consider myself very fortunate to have seen these magnificent creatures in the wild. They are
nature's great survivors and they need to be, as today they are finding themselves increasingly
Below are some photographs of the research that went into this painting. Cape Churchill has the
highest concentration of polar bears found anywhere in the world. It was such a privilege and
pleasure for me to see these wonderful animals there. It is an experience I will never forget and I
have many polar bear paintings planned for the future.
