Glen Affric is one of my favourite places. I went there one year when the snow was fresh and deep and I had the entire
Glen to myself. I was in heaven and was inspired to paint this picture when I returned to my studio. Glen Affric in
winter can be a place of magnificent solitude. It is a place I truly adore and have spent endless hours exploring.
This painting was auctioned by Christies, South Kensington.
